Local CASA Volunteer Nominated for State Award

Luetta Danforth, Gila County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) was nominated for the 2008 Arizona CASA of the Year award. Although she was not chosen, she is considered the 2008 CASA of the Year for Southern Gila County, and will be highlighted on the Arizona CASA website (azcasa.org).
At the April 15 CASA recognition event held locally, Luetta was given a special award for CASA excellence, along with a certificate, a rose, and a gift.
Luetta has been a Gila County CASA for over four years.
