Safe Home’s 6th Annual Spring Luncheon

Every year the women of Gila County put on their best duds and get together with friends to attend the Safe Home’s Annual Spring Luncheon on May 10 at Kelly’s in downtown Globe.
Victims of domestic violence spoke about their experiences and how their lives were changed with the help of the Gila County Safe Home and its staff.
The festive and prize-filled luncheon was put on to raise money needed to help keep the Safe Home’s doors open to families in crisis. The luncheon is put on by Living Waters Church and River of Life Church.
Gila County Safe Home is a program of Horizon Human Services. Over 150 women attended this year’s luncheon symbolizing the strong sense of unity and community in Gila County.
