Alan Dale Pence passed away at the age of 68 on January 3, 2018 at Haven Health with his siblings by his side, who loved and cared for him after our mothers passing.

Alan was born December 2, 1949 to Dale and Lorraine Pence in Pahsimeroi Valley, Idaho.

Along with his family he moved to Globe in 1965.

Alan worked for People Pleaser’s in the 90’s building decorative furniture, cleaning the sidewalks, and cutting weeds. Alan loved going to yard sales, fishing and could cuss like a seasoned sailor when he felt the need.

Though Alan was born with a multitude of medical challenges which sidelined him from so many things, he was always a funny, friendly and totally loving person, loved by anyone who met him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Dale and Lorraine Pence. He is survived by his brother Gene (Lorraine) Pence, his sisters Bethel (Mike) Baker, Kay Hawkins, Lynn (Mike) Komula, Latricia Ricklefs, Carol Jensen, all of the local area.

Services will be held Friday, January 19, at 10 a.m. at Horizon Health and Wellness, 520 Inspiration Drive, Miami.

We would like to thank Katie and all the people at Horizon Health and Wellness in Miami, Bonnie and all the people who took such good care of Alan through PPEP, Dr. Rooney for the compassionate medical care, Deanna from THEMA, all the people from Haven Health, and Deneen from the Body Shoppe, Alan loved his pedicures.

We would also like to thank everyone in the community who worked with Alan and made his life ore fulfilling, too many to list, but greatly appreciated.

Alan will be early missed by all who knew him.
