Andres Dominguez Aguero

Andres Dominguez Aguero, 94, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Atrium Assisted Living Home in Tucson, Ariz.

He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Maria (Olmos) Aguero, his son, Andy Aguero Jr., his daughter, Rose Wakefield and three grandchildren, Logan, Alyssa and Zachry.

Born and raised in Globe, Arizona, the son of Marcelio and Barbara (Dominguez) Aguero, he was a life long resident of Miami, Ariz.

In his early years he worked doing side jobs in construction and carpentry.  He met his wife, Maria Olmos, while he was working a side job at La Paloma where she worked. They were married in 1966 and started their family shortly after. Together they also helped in the upbringing of Margie, Tony, George and Anna Gonzales.

He worked with the Town of Miami and later took a permanent position with the Miami School District as the custodian of A building. He took pride in his work and was respected by many of the students and faculty.  He retired in 1986.

He loved listening to music, eating sweets, and sitting around the table with all who would visit sharing stories of his life experiences.  He also enjoyed sitting outside with his animals.

Services were held at Lamont Mortuary of Globe on Monday, October 23, 2017. Followed by burial services at Mountain Breeze Cemetery.
