Dear Editor:
I know that for many of you, Home Tour is a beloved annual event put on by the Chamber, which is why I write this with a heavy heart - Home Tour has been cancelled this year. As attendance rates have declined, it simply does not make sense to continue moving forward as we previously have.
With the support of my Board of Directors, we believe that holding off until next year will give us a sufficient amount of time to revive Home Tour. Not only will we be able to offer more next year, but we’ll also be able to advertise it more thoroughly to ensure we have a great turnout.
Remember, Home Tour isn’t going away. We’re excited to bring it back bigger and better next year! We’ll see you at the Globe Historic Home and Building Tour in Spring of 2021!
It makes me sad to share our decision but I know that next year Home Tour will be awesome and we’re very much looking forward to it. Thank you for helping us get the word out.
