Aug. 21 Fundraiser: Miami and Globe Ride To Fight Child Exploitation & Trafficking

Posted

Operation Underground Railroad was founded in 2013 to fight the exploitation of children and human trafficking; local supporters have arranged an Aug. 21 Friday evening fundraising ride to support the cause and raise awareness. Motorcycles, trucks and side-by-sides are invited to join a ride through neighborhoods of Miami and then Globe, meeting in the Walmart parking lot at 5 p.m. where raffle tickets will be sold, with all proceeds donated to Operation Underground Railroad. You’d like to help, but can’t ride along? More raffle items are always welcome, and will help make this innovative event a success - and you can also help support our local stores and restaurants by sponsoring a gift certificate that you can donate to our raffle.

For donation inquiries please call or text Tristin at 928-961-6550. After meeting at Walmart, participants will head through Miami at 5:30, then through Globe -- ending at the historic train depot downtown, where more raffle tickets will be sold.
