Bayles and Keeler Concert Feb. 13 in Globe

The Globe-Miami Community Concert Association celebrates their 65th season with a wonderful line-up of talent that runs the gamut: classical, cowboy songs, Broadway, to calypso. The performers for the fourth concert will be Dallyn Vail Bayles and Amy Schreeve Keeler, presenting From Broadway With Love the day before Valentine’s Day, 2020.

Dallyn Vail Bayles: from small town Green River, Utah, Dallyn is a professional actor, singer and recording artist. He understudied and performed the roles of the Phantom and Raoul in the Broadway touring company of The Phantom of the Opera. He performed internationally and throughout the United States with the Broadway tour of Les Misérables. Dallyn has also played leading roles in numerous regional theatre and professional productions across the country, including in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Seattle and throughout Utah.

As a concert soloist, Dallyn has performed at Carnegie Hall and shared the stage with several distinguished performers and musicians, including: Colbie Caillat, Tori Kelly, The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square, the Utah Symphony, Matthew Morrison, Sierra Boggess, Hayley Westenra, Rebecca Luker, Frank Wildhorn, and others.

On film, Dallyn portrays Brigham Young in Green Flake, and Hyrum Smith in the films Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration and Emma Smith: My Story.

Dallyn has recorded three solo albums (Some Enchanted Evening, Song of Redeeming Love, and Prayer) and a duo Christmas album (O Holy Night), and has recordings featured in the films 17 Miracles and Ephraim’s Rescue.

In addition to performing, Dallyn has worked as adjunct faculty and guest director at Brigham Young University. He completed his MFA in Musical Theatre at The Boston Conservatory, and received his BFA in Music Dance Theatre from BYU. He was honored to receive the 2017 Utah Governor’s Mansion Performing Artist Award, and the 2012 BYU Young Alumni Distinguished Service Award.

Amy Shreeve Keeler graduated from BYU in Music Dance Theatre and was immediately offered a position as a vocalist/actress with the Walt Disney Company. After performing for several years in both Hong Kong and Orlando, Amy returned to her home state of Utah where she now spends her time as Mommy to her sons Davis, Hayden, and Bennett (and has a girl on the way!). Favorite roles include: Cinderella (Cinderella), Marguerite (Scarlet Pimpernel), Amalia (She Loves Me), Mother (Ragtime), Millie (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Polly (Crazy for You), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Jane (Jane Eyre), Sarah (Guys and Dolls), and Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance).

They make beautiful music together, so make sure to renew or become a new member today. Admission to the concerts is by membership only. Two types are offered: full-season or single memberships. Single membership is only available at the night of the performance. The main benefit of the full membership is to attend all the remarkable concerts the Association organizes with you, the Globe-Miami community, in mind. Special discounts for students and for families help make the concerts available to everyone. The membership cost is as follows: Adults - $40;

Students - $10; Families - $90; Single Parent Families - $50; single membership - $20.

Memberships are available on the evening of the concert, at the desk at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center, at the White Porch in Globe, or by mailing in a membership form from the brochure. You can pick up a brochure which describes the concerts and includes a membership form at several places including both the Globe and Miami Libraries, both the Globe and Miami Senior Centers, the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce, the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts, United Jewelers, the Copper Hen, Vida e caffé, the Gila County Historical Museum, the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center, Cornwell Copper, J. L. Giarde Gallery, and Bullion Plaza. If you are having trouble finding a brochure, call 928-812-1696 and request that one be mailed to you. Then all you need to do is fill out the membership form, write your check, and mail it in to Box 1222, Claypool, AZ 85532. Tickets are mailed during the first week in October. Don’t put it off. You will want to have your tickets and be ready to get a good seat at every concert.

All performances will begin at 7 p.m. at High Desert Middle School auditorium.

- Thomas Pandolfi – Tuesday, March 17, 2020 – piano virtuoso excels in classical, pops, Broadway showtunes, and American composers.

- J.T.’s Island Steel™ – Thursday, April 23, 2020 – 10 musicians playing on full range of steel drums bring the calypso music of the Caribbean islands.

If still unconvinced about what a great deal this is, there are even more benefits to membership. All out of town guests are welcomed to the concerts free of charge when they are accompanied by a member. Also, there is reciprocity with Associations in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado and this entitles members to attend those concerts free of charge. That $40 membership goes a long way!
