Bonnie Joann McBride, 89, passed away on Jan. 5,2019 in Globe, Ariz. Bonnie was born in Tulsa, Okla. on July 11,1929, to Craig and Effie Hamilton. Bonnie married the love of her life, Lloyd McBride, and they had four beautiful children. Bonnie took pride in being a wonderful wife and mother. She even took pride in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved and cherished every moment she had with her family. Bonnie put that same love and affection she had for her family into baking. Cakes were her favorite, however, and would make birthday and wedding cakes for all of her children and grandchildren. Bonnie had a way with words and had the ability to move any reader with the power of her poetry. She enjoyed music and took joy in playing the piano, organ and even the accordion. Bonnie was devoted member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. She was part of the relief society stake president for 10 years. Bonnie was a ray of light in the lives of all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Lloyd McBride, and her sister Virginia McIntyre. She is survived by her sons George (Nancy) McBride and John (Elaine) McBride, and her daughters Diana (Erik) Parsons and Carolyn (Faustino) Castillo; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 at the Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Claypool Ward with visitation at 9 a.m., funeral service 10 a.m., with interment to follow at City of Globe Cemetary.
