You are invited to attend an informational meeting about the Court Appointed Special Advocates Program to learn how you can have a life-long impact on a child in foster care in Gila County.
CASA volunteers are everyday people, appointed by a judge to review a case of abuse or neglect. They meet with the children involved in the case and become an integral part of the court team, ultimately reporting back to the judge with vital information about the case.
The first meeting will be at the Miami Memorial Library on Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
