The Cathy Sanchez Cañez Memorial Foundation would like to thank the community for their support at the Globe/Miami Farmer’s Market this summer.
A special shout out to Market Manager Holly Brantley who is nothing short of being the most kind, helpful, and amazing person in town. We appreciate the open arms she extended to our group when we first joined the “market family” over two years ago. We are fortunate to use this venue as a megaphone to get our message out to the public.
Proceeds from Cathy’s monsoon awareness booth in 2020 helped fund four mini libraries in and around the Globe-Miami area. Earnings from this summer will go toward constructing and planting two more community lending libraries at Copper Rim Elementary and in San Carlos at Apache Healthcare. Remaining funds from this summer’s market season supported post-fire mitigation efforts, helped a family severely impacted by the Miami floods, and uplifted a foundation supporter who is undergoing chemotherapy.
The monsoon season isn’t over. It typically runs through September of each year. During this time, let’s all remain cautious, watchful and safe.
All for Cathy,
Bea and Johnny
