Posted

Bullion Plaza Museum is pleased to host a concert featuring the Globe Miami Centennial Concert Band on Saturday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m.

Directed by Mr. Nolan Frost, the program will include Cole Porter Classics, Wrong Note Rag by Leonard Bernstein, a collection of Irish street ballads, music from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, a Suite of Old American Dances, and Beethoven’s Scherzo from Symphony No. 9.

The concert is free, but donations to support the work of Bullion Plaza Museum are always welcome.

Globe Miami Centennial Band is a local non-profit  all-volunteer community band that provides an opportunity for young and old to rehearse and perform challenging musical literature in three groups; the Concert Band, Centennial Swing Jazz Band and Little Big Band. The bands rehearse on Thursday nights at Miami High School. New players and visitors are always welcome. We currently have openings for flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, guitar and bass violin players.
