Christian Don Haines, 19

Posted

Christian Don Haines was born to Chris and Christy Haines on March 9, 1998 in Globe, Arizona.

He entered into rest on February 25, 2018. He would have been 20 years old on March 9th.

Christian grew up here in Globe most of his life. As a child he was very shy. He was so loving, his nickname was Bubba Love. He was such a kind and gentle soul. He always loved hugs and to snuggle, in fact another nickname was Snuggle-up-igus. When he was two he hung out with the older boys in the neighborhood. He jumped on one of their bikes (No training wheels) and took off like he’d been riding his whole life. Throughout his childhood he would be the one holding doors open for everyone. He enjoyed gaming with his sisters and brother in law and his mom. He tried to teach many, one of his favorite hobbies which was skating. He also loved to play the guitar, beat box, rap, writing and recording music with his sister Candice and mom. In his teen years he used to take his little sister Courtney to ride his skateboard while she rode her scooter. Christian and Candice used to take their little sister Courtney to McDonalds to buy sweet tea and cookies all the time, in fact almost every day.

Later in his teen years he enjoyed running races with his dad and Uncle Rick. Christian and his mom were always sparring his whole life, some nights they’d be by the campfire with sticks acting like ninjas. For the most part no one ever got hurt. All in all he was a kind and gentle soul. His heart was so big when it came to family and friends. When he loved someone he loved them with all his heart and soul.

Christian will be missed dearly by all of those whose paths he crossed.

Christian was preceded in death by his grandparents Chick Haines, Patricia Fontaine and Patricia Cano Quiroz.

He is survived by his mom and dad Chris and Christy Haines, his sisters Courtney Haines and Candice Haines Barnett (Craig), his grandparents Shirley Haines, Owen and Tinker Baldwin, his nephew Lincoln Barnett and niece Rozlynn Haines Barnett, nine uncles and seven aunts, plus lots of cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Living Waters Community Church at 125  Haskins Drive on Friday, March 9, 2018.

Visitation with the family will be at 4:00 p.m. and services will follow at 5:00 p.m.
