Cornhole tournament to support ‘Les Mis’


Support local children’s theatre by competing in a cornhole tournament at the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts on Saturday, June 16 from 12-4 p.m.

“Vive la Cornhole” will be a double elimination tournament with cash prizes for winners.

The event will also feature raffle prizes, a 50/50 raffle and many other treats and surprises.

The cost to enter is $30 for a two-person team. Registration will be from 11 a.m. to noon., just before the tournament.

Proceeds support children performing in the Summer Youth Musical Theatre Program’s 2018 production of “Les Miserables: School Edition,” helping to keep it affordable to participate.

Donations can be made to through the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts, a recognized 501(c)3.

Saturday, June 30, at 7 p.m.

Sunday, July 1. at 2 p.m.

Thursday, July 5, at 7 p.m.

Friday, July 6, at 7 p.m.

Saturday, July 7, at 7 p.m.

Sunday, July 8, at 2 p.m.

“Les Miserables” contains material which may be upsetting to some audience members, particularly young children.
