Daniel Lee Brockert

1948 – 2021

Dan Brockert passed away on Feb. 4, 2021. Dan was born in Dodgeville, Wisconsin and grew up in Globe, Arizona. He graduated from Globe High School in 1966 and served honorably with the U.S. Army, as a tank driver with the 69th Armor Regiment, from 1966 to June 1969. He also worked for the state of Arizona for 20 years as a social worker.

Dan was a man with many interests and cared about many worthy causes, but his passion was riding. He was happiest doing anything with his motorcycle; working on it, cleaning it, but most of all riding. Everyone that knew Dan will remember him as a true inspiration in their lives. Dan was deeply devoted to his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Jeannine Brockert, his brother Richard (Esther), his sister Mary E. Idler, his son Robert Teitz (Brenda) and his stepdaughter Tammy Fortune (Joe).

Dan is preceded in death by his brothers Patrick, David, John, Jim and Mike, and his sister Martha Skamel.

Memorial services were held on Feb. 19, 2021 at the Globe Cemetery in Globe, Arizona.
