Daniel Picciuto, age 86, of Peridot, Ariz. passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 at his residence in Peridot. He was born in Painesville Lake, Ohio on Jan. 23, 1932. He was the son of Florence (Ramåundo) and Ernest Picciuto. He was the minister for the Church of Jesus Christ in Peridot. He served his country proudly in the U.S. National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents Florence and Ernest Picciuto and his daughter Tina Grosbeck-Picciuto. Daniel is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dolores (Hoffman) Picciuto of Peridot; sons David Picciuto (Lori) of Lake Forest, Calif.; Matthew Picciuto (Rosario) of Santa Ana, Calif.; Mark Picciuto (Karen) of Riverbank, Calif.; Daniel E. Picciuto (Lisa Jo) of Torrance, Calif.; daughter Regina Picciuto (Thomas Schell) of Phoenix; sister Rose Deulus (Richard) of Modesto, Calif.: brothers Anthony Picciuto (Lydia) of Gold Canyon, Abi Picciuto (Cindy) of Concord, Ohio, Dino Picciuto (Patty) of Concord, Ohio, 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
In late 1960 he, his wife and family left Ohio and moved to Arizona where he dedicated his life to God’s work at the Native American mission in Peridot.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 from 8-11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ Peridot, Ariz. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ.
