Diana Jo Niles went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. She was born in Iowa on March 26, 1943, then moved to Arizona in 1976. In 1988, she and her and her husband moved from Chandler, Az. to become Globe residents.

She has been a beloved member of the community for over 33 years. If you shopped at Fry’s or used Mary Kay, you probably knew her. She loved her Lord, her family, her community, her church, selling Mary Kay, ice cream and having extended conversations with anyone who had a few minutes to spare.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband Jerry and her son Craig. She is survived by her daughter Kim, son Bill, grandchildren Chase, Stan, Tiffany, Celena and Diana, and great-grand-daughter Sophia.

A Memorial Service open to the community was held on Monday, July 19 at 2 p.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church, 1360 E. Saguaro Dr. in Globe. All were welcome to attend and even share a story. There was a reception in the gym following the service. She has been the main cause of the Great Ice Cream shortage in Globe for the last 33 years.

Revelations 21:4 - “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
