Dzera thanks Heritage Healthcare for compassion and support

GLOBE — After a life threatening experience I found myself at Heritage Health Care in Globe, Arizona. I was in a wheel chair, unable to walk or do anything for myself without help. I was terrified of what the future would hold.

I found caring and compassionate people who calmed my fears, listened to my concerns and took excellent care of my medical needs.

I can never thank everyone enough for the expert care I received from the nurses, nursing assistants, physical therapists, administration and other support staff.

To Marie and Lily, my friends for life, you helped me through some really dark and scary times.

Steve thanks for helping me see that I wasn’t alone and that I was lucky to have the family and friends I had.

Three weeks later I walked out of Heritage without the aid of a wheel chair or walker or cane.

I have a year or so to go until I can have a reverse surgery to take care of the colostomy and I will be ready.

Thank you to Dr. Joseph Abdo and his staff for all their help.

To my angel, Anjanette Bolinger, thank you. I can’t tell you how much your help and care and teaching me how to care for myself meant to me. I owe you so much and don’t think I could have done everything without you. May God bless you all.
