Elizabeth “Libby” Grimes Keller, of Globe, Az. passed away on Dec. 28, 2022 at the age of 86 in her home. The funeral, assisted by Lamont Mortuary, was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center on Dec. 31, 2022. Burial followed at the Globe Cemetery, next to her husband of 61 years, High Kerlin Keller.

She was born in Silver City, NM to Vernon Nancy Salars and William Frank “Goo” Grimes (both deceased) on March 18, 1935. She grew up in Hurley, NM and was a long time resident of both Silver City and Cliff, NM.

Libby is also predeceased by her brother William Frank “Billy” Grimes Jr., sister Sarah Ellen Miller, sister-in-law Clyda Ferino, son Lloyd Keller, son-in-law C.D. Dill, grandsons Kyle Keller and baby Jared Keller, and granddaughter baby Kaytlynn Mikeworth.

She is survived by her three siblings JoAnn Passig, of Carlsbad, NM, Edwin Ves Grimes, of Apache Junction, Az. and Donna Rae Grimes, of Silver City, NM, and sister-in-law Jackie Grimes, of Deming, NM. She is also survived by her eight children: Donna “Jody” (Calvin) Mikeworth, of Globe, Az.; Nancy Keller, of Lordsburg, NM; Aaron (Diana) Keller, of Claypool, Az.; Lewis Keller, of Apache Junction, Az.; Cheri Fulkerson, of Thatcher, Az., James (Becky) Keller, of Cliff, NM; Rebecca Lynn Keller, of Questa, NM; and Elizabeth “Libby Lou” Dill, of Animas, NM, as well as daughter-in-law Bonnie Keller, of Iola, Tx., 41 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Libby was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints wherever she lived and held many different callings. Her priorities in life were shown by the way she lived it - her love of God, this country and her family.
