Sullivan St. The afternoon and night will feature two separate events, each one age-appropriate; the first is for younger kids from 3 – 6 p.m. with water activities, games and refreshments provided free! Children under eight years old must be accompanied by a parent or other adult chaperone. Nighttime brings a 7 - 10 p.m. End of the Summer Teen Dance under the stars for teens, with dance activities and refreshments provided free to participants.
What donations are needed? Christine Duarte writes, “Help fund this event with a cash donation to Miami Genesis or mail to Miami Genesis/Rosemary Castaneda 1003 W. Live Oak St. Miami, Arizona 85539. Donate bottled water, Otter Pops, water balloons, Capri-Suns, Hug fruit barrel drinks or any other item; we will arrange to pick up any donation at your location. Donations can also be dropped off before our event, at the Miami Senior Center between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. We thank all the local businesses and citizens already committed to assist in funding this event. Our community is amazing and we truly appreciate the support!”
