Fadra Claudine Henderson was born on June 25, 1924 in Hamlin, Texas, to Eula Faye (Warner) and William Luther Henderson. She passed away on March 22, 2020 in Globe, Ariz. at the home of her daughter in Six Shooter Canyon.

Claudine married Dan Hileman in 1941. They had three children; Shirley, Joyce and Carl. The marriage ended in 1964. In 1966 she married Cecil Boswell. They were married 32 years at the time of his death in 1995.

From a very early age and into her adult years, Claudine was one of Shirley Temple’s biggest fans, even naming her first-born daughter after the childhood star. She collected every bit of memorabilia she could find about her, including three old composition dolls from the 30s.

Like most moms of her age she was a very good cook and an excellent seamstress and loved doing crafts and decorating her home. She enjoyed being out-of-doors fishing, camping and gardening. She also had a talent for writing poems.

She was a member of the LDS church, Miami Ward since being baptized in 1970 and loved attending services and taking part in various activities.

These things slowed down and eventually halted altogether as her Alzheimer’s progressed. She had been under hospice care (Thema Health Services) a little over two years.

Claudine was a caring Mother, Mom, Nana, Grandma, aunt and friend and was loved so very much.

Surviving family members include her two daughter, Shirley (Frank) Gibson of Central Heights and Joyce Beydler of Globe; one very special niece Deb Cogburn, who also helped take care of her Aunt Claudine for over two years. Step-daughters, Ginger Benton of Maricopa, Lynis Reyes of California and Carrol Sharp of Arkansas. Also Barbara Montgomery, who Claudine always considered “one of her girls”, and Carl’s best friend, Wayne Hamlet, who always claimed the Hileman house-hold as his second home when growing up.

There are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren (some of whom she never really got to “know”). Plus several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Hileman; her second husband, Cecil Boswell; her son Carl Hileman, and grandson “Danny boy” Hileman; her brother Clifton Henderson, four sons-in-law, Bobby Beydler, Ron Benton, Jim Sharp and Ray Reyes and her step-son Butch Boswell.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Globe Cemetery.

Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
