Festival of Lights at Besh Ba Gowah

GLOBE — The Besh Ba Gowah Festival of Lights is an free annual luminary event at the Besh Ba Gowah Archaeological Museum and Botanical Garden on Sunday, Dec. 17 from 5-9 p.m.

The staff lights the walls of the ruins with hundreds of paper bags and candles. 

The Yellow Bird Dance Group provides an authentic Native American Dances, songs, poetry and more. Vendors are on site with winter drinks and native American foods and crafts. 

The Besh Ba Gowah Gift Shop is open for Holiday shoppers as well. 

Parking is limited at the Globe Community Center so it is recommended attendees park in downtown Globe and catch the shuttle that picks people up at the Old Train Depot every 15 to 20 minutes. 

The shuttle service is also free of charge. The address for the depot is 230 South Broad Street, Globe.
