Frederick Sheldon Wortley, passed away October 4, 2017
Born December 1, 1929 in Croswell, MI. He lived in Cadillac MI and went to Hoxeyville High School. He joined the Army in 1947, proudly serving his country, awarded a Purple Heart and many other honors. He married Hazel J. Darling, September 6, 1952. They have five children, Kathy M. Bruce, Frederick J. Wortley, Diane S. Just, Roger R. Wortley and Eddie I Wortley. Fred and Hazel have 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Fred worked for General Motors in Grand Rapids, MI and as a carpenter in Tucson, AZ. He loved fishing and hunting. He taught all of his children and grandchildren. In his final years Hazel and Fred lived at Roosevelt, AZ.
