FSA 2020 Agriculture Risk coverage appointment deadline

June 30 is the last day to schedule an appointment with FSA for 2020 Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage Enrollment. The Agriculture Risk (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs provide financial protections to farmers from substantial drops in crop prices or revenues and are vital economic safety nets for most American farms.

Farmers, this is FSA administrator Richard Fordyce,  reminding you that enrollment in the agriculture risk coverage or price loss coverage programs for the 2020 crop year must be completed by June 30.

Currently, FSA staff are in the office but are working with producers only by phone and using online tools whenever possible. We will send enrollment contracts for signature by mail or email, depending on your preference. If you don’t enroll, you will be ineligible to receive a payment for the 2020 crop year should one trigger for an eligible crop. Give us a call today. During these challenging times, USDA is here to support you through delivery of our farm programs while you selflessly work to feed our nation and the world. For all you do … thank you!
