While a couple of counties in Arizona have moved to delay certifying this month’s general election vote, the process has gone smoothly in Gila County, whose board of supervisors unanimously certified the election results on November 18. A copy of the official canvass was then sent to the Arizona secretary of state’s office.
The county saw a voter turnout of 67% in the Nov. 8, 2022 general election, with a majority of voters (52.5%) casting early ballots. This was the second-highest turnout percentage in Arizona, after Yavapai County’s 75%.
