Gila County Public Health has confirmed Covid-19 cases are increasing in our communities. Our public health officials have determined that the Delta variant has been detected locally. Nationally, this variant is responsible for over 80 percent of all new cases and is noticeably more infectious than previous variants. In the past few months, the majority of these positive cases in Gila County have not been vaccinated. Gila County Public Health is offering free Covid-19 tests. We conduct in-house serology, PCR and antigen tests. We have the results in 10-15 minutes for each test.
