Globe Council celebrates milestones

Salutes to some employee milestones, including a couple of retirements, were part of the Globe City Council’s Sept. 28 meeting.

That Tuesday evening, firefighters and police officers were there to honor Fire Marshal Joe

Bracamonte, who served with the Globe Fire Department for 25 years, and his K-9 partner Evo

on the occasion of their dual retirement.

City staff and councilmembers also celebrated key anniversaries for Public Works Director John Angulo, City Clerk Shelly Salazar and Code Enforcement Specialist Michelle Yerkovich, who have served the city for 25, 20 and five years respectively.
