The Globe Lions Club hosted its Arizona Lions District 21-B Convention at Apache Gold Convention Center on April 6 and 7, where club President Steve Ravenkamp presented donations collected for Gila Community Food Bank. Relieving Hunger is one of the five focus areas for Lions Clubs International, in addition to vision, diabetes, environment and childhood cancer, as well as helping with meeting other community needs.
