GMCCA 64th season continues Jan. 17

The Globe Miami Community Concert Association will continue its 64th concert season with a performance by Acoustic Eidolon at High Desert Middle School in Globe.

Acoustic Eidolon is a duo from Colorado who have played cello and the guitjo (two-necked guitar) across the U.S., Europe, Canada and Australia. Joe Scott and Hannah Alkire blend Celtic, Americana, World and Flamenco musical influences.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan 17, at High Desert Middle School, 4000 High Desert Dr., in Globe. Learn more about the duo at www.acousticeidolon.com.

Membership in GMCCA includes concerts held from October through April for a membership price. Remaining performances include Acoustic Eidolon, the Brothers Four, and Cafe Flutes, playing a variety of musical styles on flutes from the 11-inch piccolo to the 10-foot long contrabass flute.

Concert attendance for the regular season is by membership only. Prices are as follows and include all six concerts:

Adults $40 (That’s $6.67 per concert)

Students: $10 ($1.67 per concert)

Family: $90 (2 parents and any number of children up to 18 years of age)

Single Parent Family: (one parent and any number of children up to 18 years of age)
