Harold “Jim” Lecompte

Harold “Jim” Lecompte, 77, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2019, at his home he shared with his wife Dolores “Dolly” LeCompte in Claypool, Arizona. 

Born to Harold and Maxine LeCompte Feb. 24, 1942 in Sasakwa, Okla. Jim served 8 years in the U.S. Air Force, (1962 - 1970), as an Instrumentation Tech.
Upon his return home, he worked for Cyprus Mining Corporation as an Instrumentation/Electrician Supervisor in Miami, Ariz. 

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and camp cook.  He loved to spend time with his friends, family and beloved dog, Charlie.  He was a kind man of very few words and will be great missed by all family and friends. 

He leaves behind his wife, Dolores LeCompte of Claypool, Ariz., sister Evelyn (Jack) Chapman of Claypool, Ariz., sons Christopher LeCompte of Vidilia, Calif., Alan (Lorry) Hammargen of Aztec, N.M., daughters Sanna (Crow) Castro of Globe, Ariz., Susan (Dale) Waggoner of Mesa, Ariz., Sharon (Bryan) Ledbetter of Apache Junction, Ariz., grandchildren Kami (Ben) Olguin of Aztec, N.M., Kylee (Cory) Burns of Denver, Colo., Trevor (Allie) Hammargen of Austin, Texas, Lindsey (Brian) Castro-Maki of Mesa, Ariz., Bryan Harris of Arizona, Jessica (Sean) Nelson of Mesa, Ariz., Thomas (Andres) Waggoner of Kentucky, Nic (Sarah) Waggoner of Mesa, Ariz., Ella McCann of Strongville, Ohio, great-grandchildren Talan, Taner, Taren, Sebastian, Remington, Archer, Harley, Gavin, Sean, Jack, Quinn, Charlotte and Evelyn.

He is proceeded in death by Harold and Maxine LeCompte, second wife, Beverly Lecompte, sister Marjorie Mitchell, daughter Teri Hammargen and grand-daughter Ashley Nicole Guerra-Castro.
There will be a private gathering at a later date.
