Ivan Locklin Warren returned to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, January 3, 2018. Ivan was born on June 15, 1917 to William Tilford Warren and Susie Murray Warren in Globe, Arizona.
Ivan grew up in the Globe/Miami area, and never lived anywhere else. As he was growing up, he developed a love of fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
Ivan began working at the mines while in his teens. He worked at the copper mines for 46 years. He began his mining career in underground mining in Superior then worked for ICCO. He was a journeyman carpenter and took great pride in his work.
In his retirement, Ivan took on many projects to keep him busy. Ivan loved to work, and did not like “down time”. He loved gardening, home projects and was so proud of his home and yard. He was very active in the Elks Club where he developed a love for country music and dancing.
Ivan leaves behind his wife Betty Warren, his daughter Robyn Nichols (Guy), his daughter-in-law Kathy Warren, five grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bobbie Warren, his wife Lucille Bearup Warren, his son Linny Warren and his brother Curtis Warren.
Funeral Services were held on January 9, 2018 with interment at Pinal Cemetery.
