J.D Alexander, 83 of Globe, Ariz. passed away Friday October 6, 2017.

J.D. had lived in Globe for the past 10 years. He lived in Hemet, Calif. for most of his life. He was in the Army from 1956 – 1958, he was a Field Specialist. He was stationed in Germany. When J.D Alexander returned home he went to work at E.M.W.D where he was the Construction Superintendent. He worked for E.M.W.D for 34 years, until he retired. He loved to camp and fish. He built his own Kayak and had boats. He spent a lot of time at the Colorado River fishing with family and friends. He and his beloved wife Joann were married 61 years. They loved to travel to Laughlin, Las Vegas, and took many vacations to visit their families. They loved to be with the grandchildren more than anything. J.D was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was our family mentor, historian and “Dad to All”. He will be missed by all who knew him. J.D is preceded in death by his wife Joann, son Lee Alexander, his parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by his daughter Diane Armbruster (Fred) and daughter Cheryl Herbst of Hemet Calif. daughter in law Donna Alexander, her daughter Jennifer, and 3 grandchildren of Globe, Ariz. Grandchildren Erin Hansen (Dave) of Kingman, Ariz., Corrie Adams (Eric) of Kingman, Ariz., Hailey Armbruster of Hemet, Calif., Cassidy Roldan (Victor) of Hemet, Calif., and Alexander Herbst of North Dakota. Great-grandchildren, Caitlynn and Carly Adams, Owen Hansen all from Kingman, Ariz. Beloved sister Pauline Cooper of Hemet, CA Beloved brother Danny Alexander (Judy) of Globe, Ariz., sister Betty Jean (Ron) from Okla. and many special nieces and nephews, brothers and sister in laws.  He will be truly missed by all, but loved forever!!!
