Jerry J. “Pop” Shaw, 75 passed away at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona on January 17, 2018. He was born November 10, 1942 in Los Angeles, California.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired Chief Metallurgist from Pinto Valley.
Pop enjoyed Bible Study and Morning Worship, a good meal and his family, but more than anything he lived for the love of his life, Marianne.
He will be remembered most for his kind, gentle nature and devotion to his wife of 52 years.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Willard Jesse and Elsie Mae Shaw, brother Bill and sister Pat. He is survived by his wife Marianne, sons Richard (Sally), Dave (Kelly) and Stephen (Jean), daughters Darla Bradford (David) and Debbie Packer (Steve), multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loyal dog Suzzie.
Funeral services were held on January 24, 2018 at Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
