Juanita De La Torre Avila died peacefully May 8, 2019 at Heritage Manor in Gilbert, Ariz. She was born in Miami, Ariz. May 6, 1925.
She was proceeded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her children, Lupe (Ernie) Lopez from Globe; Robert Avila from Scottsdale;
Tony (Rose Ann) Avila from Gilbert; Eddie Avila from Seattle, Wash.; her grandchildren, Ernie Lopez Jr. (Jennica) from Tucson; Mark Lopez from Globe; Sean Avila from Scottsdale; Tanya Grace from Scottsdale; Lori (Robert) Allen from Colorado; Candice Huckeby from Colorado; Joel Avila from Seattle; Sutton Avila from Seattle; Anita (Joe) Rawlings from Scottsdale; Elisa (Chris) Reap from Chandler, as well as 16 great grandchildren.
She was a loving mother who loved to cook for her children and grand kids when she would visit them or when they would visit her.
She was assisted by Tempe Mortuary, Tempe.
