Lorraine Kilpatrick


Lorraine Evelyn Kilpatrick, age 91, passed away peacefully Sept. 14, 2019 due to congestive heart failure. She was born in 1928 in Chicago, IL. She married her longtime friend and love, Ken Kilpatrick, in December of 1956 who preceded her in death, January 2000. Lorraine was an animal lover, but her favorite were her Pomeranian dogs. She raised Pomeranians for over 30 years and became known as the lady at Top of the World with the Poms. She also had a great love of horses, and for many years rode the country behind her home, frequented the local parades and went on many trail rides with her lady friends. Lorraine was a homemaker most of her life and only worked a while in her younger years. As a full time wife and mother, she was devoted to her family. Lorraine is survived by her two children, StarLynn Brininger and Pat Kilpatrick and his wife Judy Kilpatrick; six grandchildren, Sandi Turek, Sean Brininger, Renee Hilger, Kenny Kilpatrick, Brandon Kilpatrick and Angie Kilpatrick; plus five great grandchildren. All of whom she loved deeply. A celebration of life will be held in Chandler, Ariz., on Sept. 28, 2019. Open house from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. 2404 W Olive Way, Chandler AZ, 85248
