Lowell Paul Hengsteler passed away at age 84 on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Angel Home Care in Globe, Arizona. Lowell was born July 24, 1933 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Datus Hengsteler and Hazel Walters. He is survived by his brother, Leonard Hengsteler and sister, Dorothy Hall. As a boy, Lowell worked on his family’s farm. At the age of 11, the family moved to Tolleson, Arizona. Lowell graduated from Tolleson Union High School and began to drive professionally. He met Sally Jean McLeod and they were married in 1960. They had three children together, Eddie, Larry and Suzanne. Lowell retired and moved to Roosevelt Estates where he stayed busy and loved restoring antique farm tractors and equipment. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed telling stories of good times. Lowell has five grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Brittney, Brooke, and Stacy. They will remember and miss their fun-loving, always joking around, Grandpa Full of Beans. Lowell’s celebration of his life will be held by his family at his home in Roosevelt Estates, May 19, 2018 from 1-4 p.m.
