As part of the “Make a Difference Day” (Oct. 26), which is the largest national day of community service in the United States, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court#2634 and the parishioners of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, held a community service drive for the whole month of October to assist two volunteer based community projects, the ACE Project (All Children Eat) and the Homeless Coalition. Clothing, shoes, non-perishable items, mini flashlights, first aid kits, throw blankets and towels were donated to assist these projects.

The Catholic Daughters presented the donated items collected to Chad Cooper from the ACE Project, and to Barbara Kannegaard from the Homeless Coalition. Thanks to all who contributed to these projects you made a difference to those in need.
