Mary Frances Keenon was born on Sept. 4, 1923 in Jefferson, Okla., to Jim and Beulah McEntire. Mary was blessed to marry the love of her life John on May 17,1941 in Loco, Okla. John and Mary moved to Arizona in 1942 to start their little family and with this union had four beautiful daughters Cynthia, Annette, Barbara and Elois. Mary was a devoted wife and mother to her family.

Mary was a very diligent and faithful member of Miami First Baptist Church. She became a committed deaconess where she served in many capacities such as the treasurer, help arrange the potlucks, keeping things tidy and neat, assisting the clergy, and with her generous and kind spirt she would lend a helping hand to the less fortunate. Mary was also well known by her friends and family for making them her delicious biscuits and gravy, pinto beans, corn bread and especially her homemade yeast rolls. A few things she also liked to do was embroidery and fish in her spare time.

Mary was very proud of her family and was excited to become a grandmother to her seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mary loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary is preceded in death by her father Jim Zachariah McEntire, her mother Beulah Frances McEntire, and her husband John Kennon. Left to treasure the fond memories of her are her daughters Cynthia (Gene)Bryant, Annette Mueller, Barbara Jeffries, and Elois Corn, her sister Betty Hickman and her brother Edward “Pete” McEntire, along with her seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 at East Mesa Baptist Church 752 E. Ellsworth Rd. Mesa Ariz.
