MIAMI — The Miami Senior Center at 506 W. Live Oak St. offers lunch Monday through Friday. Call 928-473-4190. Cobre Valley Transit Rides 928-473-8222.

The suggested donation is $2 for ages 60 and up. People under 60 can also enjoy lunches for $4 and are welcome any time. Anyone 50 and older can come and enjoy the crafts and activities and are welcome any time.

Thursday, Jan. 23 —Bingo 10:30 a.m.

Menu: Lime grilled chicken, parsley butter carrots and broccoli, calico rice, wheat roll, applesauce

Friday, Jan. 24 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m., Karaoke 10:30 a.m.

Menu: Cheese enchiladas, pinto beans, Spanish rice, zucchini, mixed fruit

Monday, Jan. 27 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m.

Menu: Chili cheese dogs, 3 bean salad, broccoli slaw, mixed fruit

Tuesday, Jan. 28 —Loteria 10:30 a.m.

Menu: Chili relleno, pinto beans, Spanish, tossed salad, vanilla pudding with banana

Wednesday, Jan. 29 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m.

Menu: Baked ham, sweet potato, rice pilaf, broccoli and cauliflower, cherry crisp

All meals are served with 1 percent milk.

Miami Senior Center cannot deliver homebound meals without authorization from a case manager. Many people believe that they just have to call the center to receive a meal, but they must be referred through Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens. Call 1-800-293-9393.
