The suggested donation is $2 for ages 60 and up. People under 60 can also enjoy lunches for $4 and are welcome any time. Anyone 50 and older can come and enjoy the crafts and activities and are welcome any time.
Thursday, Jan. 2 —Bingo 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Beef fajitas, Spanish rice, zucchini and broccoli slaw, chocolate pudding with banana
Friday, Jan. 3 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m., Karaoke 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Fish sandwich, ranch beans, potato salad, ambrosia salad
Monday, Jan. 6 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m.
Menu: Taco salad, Mexican rice, oranges
Tuesday, Jan. 7 —Loteria 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Garlic chicken with pasta, cauliflower and carrots, garlic bread, apple cake
Wednesday, Jan. 8 — Coffee club 8-10 a.m.
Menu: Chef salad with chicken, apple salad, whole grain crackers, sliced pears
All meals are served with 1 percent milk.
Miami Senior Center cannot deliver homebound meals without authorization from a case manager. Many people believe that they just have to call the center to receive a meal, but they must be referred through Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens. Call 1-800-293-9393.
