The Miami Senior Center at 506 W. Live Oak St. offers lunch Monday through Friday. Call 928-473-4190.
The suggested donation is $2 for ages 60 and up. People under 60 can also enjoy lunches for $4 and are welcome any time.
Wednesday, July 17 — Coffee Club 8-10 a.m.
Menu: Chicken and Dumplings, broccoli, roasted potatoes, biscuit, tropical fruit
Thursday, July 18 — Bingo 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Sweet and sour pork chop, mixed Asian vegetables, white rice, steamed carrots, mandarin oranges
Friday, July 19 — Coffee Club, 8-10 a.m., Karaoke 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Fried fish, pinto beans, mixed vegetables, corn bread, peaches
Monday, July 22 — Coffee club, 8-11 a.m.
Menu: Chicken breast, pasta with marinara sauce, zucchini and cauliflower, garlic bread, sliced peaches
Tuesday, July 23 — Loteria 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Baked ham with pineapple, baked beans, mixed vegetables, mac and cheese, wheat bread, apple sauce
All meals are served with 1 percent milk.
Miami Senior Center cannot deliver homebound meals without authorization from a case manager.
Many people believe that they just have to call the center to receive a meal, but they must be referred through Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens. Call 1-800-293-9393.
