Music, food trucks and chihuahua races: Miami Fiesta returns Sept. 16

Live music, rides and games for kiddos, food trucks and a beer garden, the famous and hilariously adorable chihuahua races, mariachis – it’s all coming to Bullion Plaza Circle as the Town of Miami puts on its annual, all-day Fiesta on Saturday, September 16. Admission is free and so is the entertainment at the Fiesta, which runs from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Performers include Los Implikados, the Ballet Folklorico del Sol dancers, Gus Park’s pitch-perfect tribute to Elvis, our own Power Elite Dance Academy performers from Globe-Miami, Mariachi Alma Mexicana from Tucson, and music by Mondo and by the band Paloma. The evening ends with a dance under the stars featuring local favorites Neto Vasquez & Imagine.
Fiesta sponsors include the Town of Miami, HOME, the Gila County Supervisors, APS, Resolution Copper Company and the United Fund of Globe-Miami Inc.
