GILA COUNTY —Gila Community College welcomes Charlie Valencia as the new Welding Instructor for the Cobre Valley Institute for Technology (CVIT) Welding Program.
Mr. Valencia is a Globe native who retired from BHP, ASARCO and Freeport McMoran as a Boilermaker/Welder. He also served in the Arizona National Guard for 22 years. Mr. Valencia has taught welding for over two decades and is excited to join the GCC team.
