Nice turn out for the Miami 4th of July Parade

Patriots, young and old, lined Sullivan Street in Miami on the morning of July 4 to celebrate Independence Day with a traditional parade.

Entries included: The American Legion Riders, The Miami Police Department, Tri-City Fire Department, Grand Marshal Sgt. James Licano, Pinal Lumber’s WWII tribute, Heather Durnan, Jerry Garlinghouse and Leon Garlinghouse, Lynn’s School of Dance, Gilbert Renteria, McSpadden Ford, Tina Rush and the three horses, ERA Taskforce, Globe Fire Department, Democrats 94’ Chevy truck, Miami Trolley, Republicans Pickup Truck, and the ROTC with a riderless horse. Children raised their flags and cheered as parade entries moved down Sullivan. The parade was filled with speeches and music from the community Celebration Band.
