April is the month to nominate excellent educators for Gila County’s K-12 Teacher of the Year Award.
Gila County School Superintendent Roy Sandoval and his staff encourage local parents, students, teachers and administrators to nominate outstanding educators.
Anyone may nominate a deserving teacher and the winner will receive a $500 award, honorary plaque and recognition.
Teacher of the Year honors K-12 professional educators from public and charter schools who have made outstanding academic contributions to Gila County students in the communities of Globe, Miami, San Carlos, Hayden- Winkelman, Payson, Pine- Strawberry, Tonto Basin and Young/Pleasant Valley.
