Pablo Jesus Salas, age 52, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Globe on July 31, 1969. Pablo was the son of Salvador Salas and Mary (Sanchez) Salas.
He attended Holy Angels Catholic School, Globe High School, DOC Training and Air Conditioning School.
Pablo was a DOC officer for Boy’s Ranch Conservation Corps. He worked for Pinto Valley Mine. He then
went on to Hanson Cement in Mesa, Freeport-McMoRan in Miami, Freeport- McMoRan in Silver City, New Mexico, Peabody Coal in Grants, New Mexico and Freeport-McMoRan in Safford as an equipment
Pablo loved his pit bulls, Loc, Mano, Bella and Pepper. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. Pablo
loved his truck, which was his baby. He was the only male out of six children.
Pablo is preceded in death by his parents Salvador and Mary Salas and his sisters Regina and Gloria.
He is survived by the love of his life Michelle Rives, his son Emilio Salas and his daughter Destany Salas, his sisters Mary Mendez, Evelyn Hickman and Doris Russell, and three grandchildren Addison,
Autianna and Brooklyn.
A Reception will be held to celebrate Pablo’s life on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Gila County Fair Grounds.
