There are still a few spots for the next eerie outing, July 24 at the historic 1916 Depot Train Station, 230 S. Broad St. in downtown Globe, with an evening of paranormal investigation from 7 - 10:30 p.m. The evening is limited to 20 guests and the fee is $50 per person. Reserve tickets at azghostadventures.com/Reservations, and read more at facebook.com/AZGhostAdventures.
Why are train stations believed to be paranormal hotspots? Event organizers say:
“Historically, they have been ill-fated locations chosen for suicide and crime. Trains have also been used to transport the dead during wars. Bodies (caskets) were kept at train stations until they were claimed by their families. Historically, if someone died on a train, their body could have been left at the closest station and if it wasn’t picked up by a family member they would be buried along the train tracks. Train stations are considered a place of lost souls.”
On July 24 the evening begins with a group investigation at the building and nearby tracks. AZ Ghost Adventures has extended the time to 10:30 p.m. to allow for plenty of independent investigation, providing participants with the same equipment used by professional paranormal investigators. An additional feature of this special evening: medium/angelic channeler Dany Michaels will attend.
