Public Hearing planned on CDBG Grant

Gila County Community Services will have a public hearing on Friday, May 14, regarding a grant for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Gila County is expected to apply for approximately $2,450,000 in FY21 CDBG-CV funds from the Arizona Department of Housing, specific to emergency and transitional housing. CDBG-CV funds must be used to benefit low-income persons and areas or address urgent need that will or has been caused by Covid-19. The public hearing will be held at 9:30 a.m. on May 14 at the Central Heights office complex at 5515 S. Apache Ave., suite 200, in Globe.
