The High Desert Humane Society recently announced its new fundraising project.
The nonprofit will raffle off two guns, with tickets on sale at HDHS Thrift Store at 150 W. Mesquite St. Members of HDHS will also sell raffle tickets.
The first weapon is a ladies’ powder blue Walther PK-380, with conceal carry purse and the second is a Smith & Wesson 9 mm Shield with an extra magazine.
Tickets are $10 each or six for $50. The drawing for these guns will be at the seventh annual Calendar Event and Auction. Tickets for Event will be on sale soon.
All money raised goes for rescue and animal care.
