Ralph (Richie) V. Tarango, 77, of Globe, Ariz.,  passed away on Nov. 2, 2019. He was surrounded by loved ones and enjoying a night of dancing.

Richie was born on Feb. 10, 1942 in Globe, Ariz. Richie was husband of 56 years to AnnMarie Tarango. Richie was father to Rich Tarango, DeeAnna O’Neal and Billy Tarango. Richie and Annie created a beautiful and extensive family together. The two formed a love for one another that was both inspiring and selfless. From a young age, he was described as strong, determined and kind. Anyone who crossed his path in life would describe him as a “good man” – a man whose love for others defined who he was. Many would consider him a father figure. Until the very end, he was considerate, generous and willing to help others in any way he could. Richie served his country through the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Later in life, he went on to manage Pinal Lumber where his peer group continued to grow. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was an avid sports fan but always supported his Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed listening to Mexican music and dancing with his soulmate “Anna.” He never stopped teaching about the values of life, hard work and family.
