Cobre Valley Republican Club would like to announce that we will be having our regular monthly meeting this coming Saturday, Oct. 24, at 9:30 a.m. and the location is the upper portion of the Globe Community Center on Hagen Road. We hope to have some special guest speakers and other informative individuals to listen to citizens questions and concerns. One of the items on our agenda is the theft and damage of political signs. Arizona law says that if any political signs are removed, intentionally damaged or defaced, the defendant is looking at a $750 fine per sign and up to four months in jail since this is a class two misdemeanor.
